A. Procedure for Reporting Intellectual Property Infringement

It is our policy to:

  1. Block access to or remove any content (including, without limitation, text, graphics, images, logos, and photos) (collectively, "Content") that we believe in good faith infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties upon receipt of a compliant notice; and

  2. Discontinue access and service to repeat infringers.

If you believe that Content residing on or accessible through our website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please send a detailed notice of infringement containing the following information to our Designated Agent at service@chubooknives.us:

  1. Identification of the Protected Work: A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed, including registration numbers if applicable.

  2. Identification of the Infringing Material: Specific details identifying the Content you claim is infringing, including:

    • A description of how the material is being used in an infringing manner.

    • The exact URL(s) or precise location on our website where the material is located, allowing us to locate and verify the Content.

  3. Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. Statement under Penalty of Perjury: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

  6. Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property right.

B. Action Upon Receipt of Infringement Notification

Upon receipt of a valid and complete bona fide infringement notice at service@chubooknives.us, it is our policy to promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing Content and notify the affected party.

C. Procedure to Submit a Counter-Notice

If a user or content provider believes that Content removed or disabled is not infringing, or that they have authorization from the rights owner, the owner's agent, or pursuant to the law (including fair use), a counter-notice may be sent to our Designated Agent containing:

  1. Identification of Removed Content: Description of the Content that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where the material appeared before removal.

  2. Statement of Good Faith: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the Content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.

  3. Contact Information: Full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the court corresponding to your address or governing legal entity location.

  5. Signature: An electronic or physical signature.

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may send a copy to the original complaining party informing them that the removed Content may be replaced or access restored in 10 to 14 business days, unless the rights owner files a legal action seeking a court order against the content provider.

Please note that knowingly misrepresenting that material or activity is infringing may subject the reporting party to liability for damages, including legal fees and costs.
